James B. Galbreath, Attorney at Law

Over 25 years experience helping persons in:

Experience and Commitment

In our almost 30 years, we’ve learned the ins and outs of helping families dealing with these issues, particularly in trucking, automobile accidents and work injury.   Jim’s experience in the trucking industry left him with a deep respect for truck drivers and equipment operators.  At the same time he remains aware of the great responsibilities of operating heavy trucks and equipment in the public domain.   Jim loves trucking and truckers, but he bristles at unsafe  operation and unsafe equipment.

We will sit down with you to discuss your case and your options.   Very often we visit in homes to see what life-changes you and your family may be dealing with day-to-day.   Once we have decided on a course of action, we will not back down from working to obtain fair compensation for you and your family. We will answer your questions and keep you informed. We will also share frankly what you need to do to protect your own claim. We will work as a team.

Our response to those who try to bully injured working people is “We may not always win, but we never quit

More About Jim

Jim grew up in Eastern Kentucky where his family had worked in the coal fields and his Dad ran an auto parts store. During college and after, he worked for about twenty years in construction and later all phases of the trucking industry. He’s driven church busses, heavy dump trucks and drove a semi to San Francisco and back. He carried a lifelong desire to serve as an attorney and in 1987, Jim entered Chase Law School. His wife his wife Sandra entered NKU’s Masters in Education program. They worked their way through with three kids, and graduated on the same day in 1990.

Jim and Sandra married in 1970. They have three grown children and they’re working on a tribe of grandchildren. Sandra retired after teaching having taught hundreds of first graders how to read in her twenty seven years of service. Jim and his family have consider themselves very fortunate and are involved in activities that “give back”. They have given years of service to their church and community and Jim received multiple recognitions for donated legal services.

Jim practices in Kentucky where he has had success in both the Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Supreme Court. He frequently joins with co-counsel in other jurisdictions, and served as lead counsel in claims for catastrophic injuries in Kentucky and Ohio.
